What's new in 2011
With Facebook as the popular way to keep in touch with family and friends, I haven't really been updating our family blog at all! But I've decided to breathe some fresh life into it since so much has changed in the past few years!
We bought the house in early 2009 and spent the rest of the year thrilled to be in our own home in the little city of Frederick. Max quickly became a "city boy" who likes to take stroller walks through the downtown area and play in the various parks with his daddy. We've held Christmas celebrations, baby showers, birthday parties, and July 4th bashes in our home and we love it!
John began a new job in 2010 and I kept on working at Montgomery College as a part-time English professor. Max began school first at two-years-old at St. James in Mt. Airy, MD and then at three at The Wee Folk School in downtown Frederick. He loves school and has been in class with his best pal/girlfriend Sydney every step of the way!
On January 2, 2011 we welcomed Chloe Dolores into our family and couldn't be happier! Max loves being a big brother and is very helpful with her. We're all adjusting to being a family of four which means some nights everyone sleeps in the same room and we spend a lot of time camped out on the couch in our pj's :)
Happy 2011! May this year bring peace, happiness, and prosperity to all our loved ones!
